The German Center-ST was founded in 2003 by two university graduates in the field of German language and literature. Over the years, it has taken shape through the hard work of these two women as well as through several other staff members over the years.
We – the German Center-ST – are grateful to all of the current and former staff members who supported us tirelessly in forming a great school from scratch. It was chiefly their love and dedication that has set us up for our current success.
Our team consists of two main groups: teaching staff and office staff. The office staff is responsible for all of the general operations of enrollment and administration. The teaching staff is responsible for all learning- and curriculum-based matters for the school. Teachers also organize various events and celebrations (such as our annual Oktoberfest and open house), as well as assorted class projects carried out by students in accordance with their coursework (such as exhibits and displays demonstrating cultural and grammatical understanding of German topics).
Our teaching staff is composed of university graduates in the fields of German studies and German literature. Our office staff is hired based on university studies and experience in related fields, and includes both English- and German-speakers.
Currently, our team includes two native speakers of German, who are responsible for editing all translations from Vietnamese into German for accuracy and grammar. These native speakers typically handle phonetic exercises, oral reports, tips for presentations, and special staff training workshops on various topics.
